NEW JERSEY SCHOOL CONSTRUCTION PROGRAM

The New Jersey Schools Construction Corporation, a subsidiary of the New Jersey Economic Development Authority, is revitalizing communities statewide with an $8.6 billion educational initiative. Langan is providing a wide array of technical and regulatory services at numerous public school projects varying in progress from preliminary evaluation to construction.

Our particular experience and expertise in evaluating and designing projects in densely developed urban areas brings significant value to this program. Our approach to integrating new school facilities into the existing environment is deeply rooted in our commitment to provide practical, functional and sustainable design solutions.

At multiple proposed sites throughout the state, we have performed comprehensive environmental due diligence, completed site feasibility analysis and pre-design studies, identified short-term demolition and site cleanup liabilities, as well as long-term site/civil, geotechnical and environmental issues that could affect new school construction. Langan recently earned an ACEC / NJ engineering excellence award for our overall contribution to the New Jersey School Construction Program.
