ST. JOHN’S UNIVERSITY CAMPUS MASTER PLAN
Langan has provided support services for the St. John’s University Campus Master Plan Study and the design and construction of the Phase I Master Plan development. The Master Plan incorporates the following elements: Residence Halls and Dining Facilities for 3,800 students, Church, Student Center, Electrical Substation, Admissions Building, Athletic Fields, Internal Roadways and Parking Garages. Our services have included site design review and preparation of the site boundary and topographical survey, which included an inventory and assessment of the existing site utilities. Infrastructure design included site utility (storm, sanitary and water) and internal ring road design. Other services included the preparation of permit documents for application with the New York City Department of Environmental Protection and construction phase services. The overall design required coordination and phasing of the proposed improvements with existing structures and future phase development, while maintaining the University's daily operations. Langan continues to develop and implement the campus master plan with paving, lighting, roadway and landscape improvements
