UMDNJ CLINICAL ACADEMIC BUILDING
Langan provided site/civil engineering services for a 214,000 square foot medical office building. The building was constructed for the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey on a 1.34 acre site in the City of New Brunswick. The 7-story building includes offices for university faculty and medical administrative staff, as well as numerous out-patient treatment areas and medical research laboratories. Site/civil engineering services provided by Langan included stormwater management evaluation, water and utility connections, sanitary sewer design, traffic signalization, NJDEP permitting for sewer extension and soil erosion control. Building demolition plans and specifications were also prepared. Additional services included the preparation of a utility survey and topographic map, Phase 1 and Phase 2 Environmental Assessments, a geotechnical investigation, tank closures and various construction inspection services.
