Basrah Sports City is a multi-phase, multi-venue, mixed-use complex planned for the Iraqi port city of Basrah. Phase one of the project, with an estimated cost of approximately $500 million US, features a 65,000-seat stadium and a 10,000-seat secondary stadium/practice facility each designed to international standards.

Langan served as an independent engineer to provide design checking for this 2.5-kilometer-long suspension bridge Concession Project. The suspension bridge was planned to link the island of Chiloe with continental Chile through the Chacao Channel.

Adjacent to the Harlem River and immediately south of Yankee Stadium, the redevelopment of the 18-acre portion of the Bronx Terminal Market included demolition of several of existing buildings, and development of approximately one million square feet of new retail, restaurant and neighborhood services, structured parking for 2,800 vehicles, and a 250-unit hotel.

This major New York City redevelopment, under the joint guidance of the City, the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, and State of New York initiatives, is in the process of reinventing the Hudson Yards area in midtown Manhattan. Langan has been retained by multiple teams to provide geotechnical, site/civil, environmental, and traffic engineering, seismic design analysis, and surveying services during the pre-design phase of development.

This proposed redevelopment, about 20 kilometers east of the Arabian Gulf shore, consists of approximately 420 hectares. Fifty percent of the site was used as a former sand/sandstone quarry and subsequently backfilled with construction debris material, as well as potential municipal solid waste.

OQYANA World First consists of 20 man-made islands that together shape the Australian-continent portion of the World Islands reclaimed in Dubai in 2006. The proposed developments, currently in the early design development phase, will consist of luxury villas, hotels, and commercial buildings with marinas for yachts and private boats. The island edges will predominantly consist of beaches and quay walls.
