Langan has an opening for an entry level Environmental Engineer or Scientist in our New York, NY office. As the successful candidate, you will have interest in sampling, conducting Phase I/Phase II’s, drilling supervision, well installation, technical report & work plan writing, and construction/remediation oversight in a dynamic environment. In addition, possession of a strong technical education, professional demeanor, and desire to learn is essential.
Requirements:
• M.S. degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geology, or Hydrogeology;
• FE/EIT certification for Engineers;
• Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and judgment capabilities;
• Demonstrated ability to follow direction and work in a team environment;
• New York State and/or New York City experience is desirable;
• Candidates must be able to spend at least 50% of working hours in the field;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Working knowledge of computers and AutoCAD (desired); and,
• Availability to work overtime.
