Environmental Scientist / Wetlands – 1 - 3 Years

Job Description:

Employment type: Full-time

Langan has an opening for an Environmental Scientist with Natural Resources / Wetlands focus with 1 - 3 years of related experience at our Doylestown, PA office. As the successful candidate, you will be assisting in wetland delineations, vegetative inventories, ecological monitoring projects and other similar field tasks. Additional duties include regulatory / scientific research, and the preparation and submission of state and federal regulatory permit applications, as well as Environmental Impact Statements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Wetland Ecology, Biology, Botany, or related discipline;
• One to three years of wetland delineation and regulatory permitting experience;
• Willingness to spend at least 75% of working hours in the field;
• Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and judgment capabilities;
• Demonstrated ability to follow direction and work alone or in a team environment;
• Excellent communication skills; 
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, ArcGIS, and AutoCAD (desired); and,
• Availability to travel and work overtime.
