Langan has an opening for an Environmental Scientist with Natural Resources / Wetlands focus with 3 - 5 years of related experience at our Center City Philadelphia, PA office.
Requirements:
- A Master’s degree in Environmental Science / Resource Management, Environmental Planning, Natural Resources, Biology or a related field. Individuals with a Bachelor degree in Geographic Information Systems with relevant experience in the environmental field will also be considered;
- Experience with PADEP and NJDEP permitting;
- Ability to conduct regulatory / scientific research; prepare permit applications and other technical reports; prepare figures, maps, and drawings, and perform field work;
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and judgment capabilities;
- Exceptional report writing, organizational, time management, and communication skills;
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficiency with GIS and AutoCAD software;
- Ability and interest in travelling overnight, when necessary; and,
- Availability to work overtime.
