Environmental Engineer – 5 Years Experience

Job Description:

Employment type: Full-time

We are seeking an Environmental Engineer for our corporate headquarters office located in Elmwood Park, NJ. As the successful candidate, you will have 5 years of related environmental experience in soil/groundwater investigations and remedial technology implementation in New Jersey. Candidates must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a thorough knowledge of state and federal regulations and willingness to work in the field.

The successful candidate will possess:

• Bachelor degree in Environmental or Civil Engineering. Master degree in Environmental Engineering a plus;
• Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain within one year;
• Knowledge of NJDEP and federal regulations including RCRA and SPCC;
• 5 years experience in site characterization and remediation in a consulting environment;
• Storage tank system design experience a plus;
• Proficiency in AutoCAD;
• Experience in preparing project specifications and reports;
• Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and judgment capabilities;
• Willingness and ability to work on remote project sites;
• A valid driver’s license;
• Demonstrated experience providing supervision of subcontractors;
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment;
• Excellent organization, communication and report writing skills; and,
• Ability to work overtime.
