Network Engineer - 10 Years Experience

Job Description:

We are seeking a Network Engineer for our corporate headquarters located in Elmwood Park, NJ. Responsibilities will include support of a multi-site Windows network of approximately 500 users and interaction with vendors and outside clients. This position will require high demand / availability with overtime and weekends, high degree of motivation, extreme attention to detail, and some travel.

The successful candidate will possess:

• A minimum of 10 years hands on experience with all aspects of Information Technology;
• A minimum of 5 years in Microsoft Server technologies including Windows Server 2k3/2k8, Active Directory and all support components such as DNS, DHCP TCP/IP printing, etc.;
• Experience with MS Exchange 2k3/2k8, MS SQL 2k/2k5, MS ISA 2k4;
• Working knowledge of Cisco LAN/WAN/Telephony;
• Exceptional organization skills, strong attention to detail and an aptitude for problem solving;
• Excellent technical writing, documentation and presentation skills;
• Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work independently, in a team environment, and with vendors and clients;
• Possess a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation for periodic travel to branch office locations;
• Availability to work overtime; and,
• Availability to work weekends when needed.
