Langan provided civil, geotechnical, and environmental engineering, as well as survey and permitting services, to support the New Jersey September 11th Memorial Design Competition Winner, “Empty Sky.” The memorial consists of two 30-foot-high, 208-foot-long brushed stainless steel walls and a 16-foot-wide paved path, remembering the 741 people from New Jersey who died.
