Langan

Langan developed a master plan and feasibility study for an eco-park, wildlife sanctuary, and wetland mitigation bank on +/-615 acres of the former Raritan Arsenal Site on the Raritan River. The eco-park will feature an environmental education center, interpretive trails, and accessible boardwalks through the restored salt marsh; passive and active recreational opportunities; and facilities for water-dependent uses.

As part of the Gateway National Recreational Area's on-call team, Langan provided engineering and environmental services for site development improvements at Great Kills. Langan prepared all construction documents for the demolition of an 80,000-square-foot pile-supported bathhouse, 2,000-square-foot beach center, and one half mile of sewer.
