Xanadu
Meadowlands Xanadu will be a unique and visually compelling 4.96 million square foot mixed-use development proposed for the Arena Site located on the Meadowlands Sports Complex in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The redevelopment of the Arena site will include Family Entertainment, Office and Hotel components and a Minor League Baseball Stadium. The project will incorporate exciting and participatory sports and family entertainment venues, such as an indoor ski slope and skate park. Entertainment themes will also provide venues for children’s education, home and life, and fashion. Working with a diverse project team of architects and designers, Langan is providing project management services; performing comprehensive geotechnical investigations and is providing site/civil engineering services including detailed phased plans for grading, storm drainage, sanitary sewer and potable water. Langan is also responsible for an environmental remediation investigation and preparing applications for all necessary State (NJDEP) and Federal (USACE) approvals, including the preparation of an Environmental Impact Statement.
