Our award-winning, 1000+ person, multi-disciplinary firm can offer you the challenge, responsibility, and growth potential you deserve. We are seeking a Civil, Geotechnical, or GeoEnvironmental Engineer or Environmental Scientist with entry to 3 years of experience in our Parsippany, NJ office.  As the successful candidate, you will be working on both small-scale and large-scale geotechnical and environmental projects. You will work in both the field and the office.  Office duties will include but are not limited to:  assisting with the preparation of technical reports, specifications, and plans; data management and evaluation; designing foundations, retaining walls, and other geotechnical aspects of construction; and environmental assessment and remediation.  Field duties will include but are not limited to:  performing field inspections associated with geotechnical and foundation projects, environmental investigations; remediation of contaminated properties; air, soil, soil gas and groundwater sampling; and field oversight of remediation activities and subcontractors. Individuals must possess a professional demeanor, as well as strong technical and communication skills, and a desire to learn. 

Job Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Geotechnical Engineering or Environmental Science required; Master’s degree preferred;
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0;
  • For entry level candidates, related internship experience is desired;
  • FE/EIT certification preferred;
  • Drilling, sampling, and environmental experience preferred;
  • Field experience with construction monitoring is preferred;
  • Must be willing to spend at least 75 percent of work hours in the field;
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal;
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and judgment capabilities;
  • Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment;
  • Possess reliable transportation to access job sites and a valid driver’s license in good standing;
  • Overnight travel may be required; and
  • Position requires work Monday through Friday with occasional evenings and weekends.
