Langan has an opening for a Civil Engineer with 5 to 10 years of Pennsylvania and New Jersey land development engineering experience. As the successful candidate, you will be designing land development engineering projects for a wide variety of exciting projects in the area. You must possess an energetic, entrepreneurial and professional demeanor, as well as strong technical and communication skills.

 

Job Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Master’s degree a plus;
  • Possess valid PA Professional Engineer licensure preferred;
  • 5 to 10 years experience in related site/civil land development engineering in the Eastern PA/NJ market preferred;
  • Strong client development and client management abilities with the ability to become a seller/doer;
  • Knowledge of local City, County and State land use entitlement processes and regulations;
  • Demonstrated expertise in all aspects of land development engineering including the integration of geotechnical and environmental engineering preferred;
  • Ability to design and oversee design including layout, grading, drainage, infrastructure, erosion and sediment control, etc. from concept through design and permitting and to completion;
  • Experience in hydrologic/hydraulic analysis and design including SWPPP/WQMP preparation and water quality compliance;
  • Ability to develop business and network and forge relationships with others in the industry;
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with multiple clients, develop proposals and budgets and manage permitting processes preferred;
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent quality control and analytical and judgment capabilities; and
  • Ability to work independently, as well as mentor staff engineers and interact with other discipline experts.
