Langan is seeking an IT Assistant to join its collaborative team in Parsippany, NJ. This individual will serve a key function in providing administrative support to the IT department. We are looking for an articulate individual with initiative and flexibility who possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with team members in a continuous learning environment.

 

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Establish, manipulate and maintain project files, document templates, databases, records and other documents;
  • Establish and maintain contact information in accordance with corporate protocols;
  • Prepare and submit expense reports;
  • Assist with the preparation and management of various documents, including proposals, reports, memorandums, meeting agendas/minutes, project schedules;
  • Assist with electronic archival of project deliverables and record documents;
  • Assist with team marketing materials including newsletters, business development collateral;
  • Event planning and scheduling;
  • Manage vendor contracts including placing and processing orders and invoices;
  • Support of end user mobile devices;
  • Coordinate with Office Services for receipt/delivery of packages; and
  • Performs other duties as requested.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • High school diploma;
  • 0-3 years related experience;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Project and Adobe Acrobat;
  • Sound judgment capability and ability to maintain confidentiality;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical, multitasking, and judgment capabilities; and
  • Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment.
