Langan is seeking a HRIS Coordinator to join its collaborative team in its Corporate Headquarters in Parsippany, NJ. This individual will serve a key function in generating Human Resource reports, supporting statistical analysis, and maintaining the HRIS employee database and designated Human Resource programs. In this role, you will have the opportunity to interface with human resources partners and internal clients to provide support that drives fulfillment of business objectives.

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Data entry/changes and maintaining data integrity between HRIS and other software/programs. Including, but not limited to annual merit increases, promotions, and bonus entries. Collaborate with the Accounting and IT departments to audit and ensure smooth operations of data sharing;
  • Develop and provide timely delivery of accurate reports using HRIS, Crystal Reports, Excel spreadsheets, and other reporting tools. Maintain standardized report library to support daily HR operations;
  • Run HRIS audit reports, review for issues/errors, and make necessary corrections to employee records. Conduct HRIS testing including enhancements, updates, and changes;
  • Process employee status change forms and obtain appropriate signature approvals for employee changes;
  • Maintain New Hire-Term Report, Organization Charts, and Monthly Headcount Reports;
  • Monitor employee vacation records and distribute vacation reports and notices on a periodic basis. Conduct bi-monthly review of vacation underutilization and notify employees and stockholders;
  • Data entry related to new hires and corresponding vacation and sick templates, adjust hours as employees term;
  • Administer the Educational Reimbursement and Professional License Bonus Programs. Review expenses, process expenses for reimbursement, track reimbursements;
  • Communicate with employees regarding programs and reimbursements, and compile information about the programs;
  • Partner with HR Managers on employee transactions, notifications, and new job title creations;
  • Review processes and recommend opportunities for system efficiencies;
  • Assist the Senior HR Analyst on all projects and HR Department as needed;
  • Backup support to the HR Coordinator; and
  • Perform other duties as requested.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree, coursework relating to HR a plus;
  • Prior related professional experience in Human Resources;
  • Exposure to database management;
  • Passion and interest in human capital metrics;
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment;
  • Extreme attention to detail; work must be accurate and thorough;
  • Strong problem solving techniques and ability to effectively present information;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Ability to effectively manage competing priorities and multitask efficiently;
  • Sound judgment capability;
  • Maintain extreme confidentiality at all times;
  • Experience with writing and running queries a plus;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and HR database program(s); and
  • Ability to use intermediate and advanced formulas and functions in Excel: v-lookups, pivot tables, etc.
