Langan is seeking a CAD Designer to join its collaborative team in Warrington, PAThe ideal candidate will have experience working on site/civil land development projects for an engineering consulting firm. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a broad range of projects; including retail, residential, higher education, and hospitals. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Draft concept plans and specifications into detailed drawings and engineering plans;
  • Draft detailed drawings, topographical profiles, and related maps for planning and construction of various engineering projects;
  • Perform mark-ups of existing plans and construction details;
  • Responsible for the appearance of all CAD drawings, maps, and aerials, and presentations for projects;
  • Prepare renderings, perspectives and other presentation materials; and
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Job Requirements:

 

  • Associate’s degree, Certification, or equivalent experience in drafting, civil technology, engineering technology, or a similar area of study;
  • 2-5 years of experience using AutoCAD (Civil 3D a plus) on land development projects;
  • Ability to provide an outstanding work product with strong attention to detail;
  • Ability to proactively organize, prioritize, and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment;
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and dependable;
  • Sound judgment capability; and
  • Position requires work Monday through Friday with occasional evenings and weekends.
