Langan is seeking a Spring / Summer (January – August 2022) Data Scientist / Analyst Intern or Cooperative Education Student to join its collaborative Information Technology team at its headquarters in Parsippany, NJ. This individual will serve a key function in performing business data management and validation. In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience working on Information Technology projects for an engineering consulting firm.
Job Responsibilities:
- Data analysis for business intelligence and trends;
- Analyze data sets;
- Manipulate and visualize business data; and
- Perform other duties as requested.
Qualifications:

Student actively pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Intelligence, Informatics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, IT, Economics, or Business-related field;

Minimum GPA of 3.0;
- Knowledge of PowerBI, PowerApps, SAP Analytics Cloud, RPAs, HTML, Python, and CSS is a plus;
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
- Ability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week;
- Ability to provide an outstanding work product with strong attention to detail;
- Ability to proactively organize, prioritize, and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; and
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and dependable.
