Langan’s Landscape Architecture + Planning team has a summer (June – August) internship opportunity in our Houston, TX office. The LA+P Intern will work in a multi-disciplinary office where they will collaborate with environmental scientists, geotechnical engineers, civil engineers, GIS specialists, and surveyors.

 

The LA+P Intern will assist with discipline-related office work and technical aspects of projects including site and master planning and construction oversight. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting local and international projects for University, Healthcare, Retail, Public, Industrial, and Government clients. 

 

Job Requirements:

 

  • Working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture;
  • Prior related internship experience desired;
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred;
  • Highly creative and possess exceptional computer skills in Adobe Suite, Sketchup, AutoCAD, Rhino, and Excel;
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal, organizational, and verbal and written communication skills; and
  • The ability to occasionally travel to project sites and/or other regional Langan offices.
