New York, NY (November 30, 2017) – Langan International UK, LTD announced the addition of John Stevens as Director of International Projects based in the firm’s London office. Stevens has significant experience in environmental engineering consulting with a focus on the industrial, oil and gas, and mining sectors, which will help further grow Langan’s international consulting practice in those markets.

Stevens will be working closely with George Leventis, Managing Director of Langan International, Can Karayel, Associate, Regional Manager EMEA, Turkey, Paul Gildea, Senior Director, International, and Rory Johnston, a Langan Senior Principal who focuses on corporate environmental remediation and the oil and gas market. “John Stevens brings a breadth and depth of experience to Langan that will enhance and expand the capabilities and reach of our international practice,” said Leventis. “We are confident that our growing international team will bring measurable value to our clients and their projects no matter the size, no matter the location.”

Stevens’ career spans over 25 years in global markets, where he has formed trusted relationships with multi-national clients in Europe, Africa, Australia, and the Middle East. He possesses a deep understanding of the commercial priorities of clients in the industrial and oil and gas sector and a detailed knowledge of investigations, risk assessment, and remediation of contaminant impacts along with the operational protocols governing project health and safety.

“Langan has a world-class reputation for providing technical excellence and responsiveness, which aligns with my approach to professional consulting,” said Stevens. “I am proud and excited to join a firm that has the resources and willingness to tackle challenging international projects, yet moves with the agility of a client-focused start-up.”
