Environmental Veteran Adds Extensive California Experience to Growing Office
Parsippany, NJ (July 23, 2019) – Langan Engineering & Environmental Services officially announced that Luis F. Navarro has joined the firm as an Associate in its Los Angeles office. Navarro joins an office capable of supporting projects in Los Angeles and the greater Southern California region, and brings more than 20 years of experience as an environmental scientist in California and the rest of the United States, Latin America, and the Caribbean. In addition to Los Angeles, Langan has offices in Irvine and Santa Barbara, as well as San Francisco, Oakland, San Jose, and Sacramento.
“Luis Navarro brings a valuable combination of technical excellence and leadership to our new and growing business in Los Angeles,” said David T. Gockel, President/CEO, Langan. “Luis and Cary Ronan, a Senior Associate in charge of our LA office and geotechnical practice, will make a formidable team as we continue to extend our reach in the region.”
Navarro’s projects have ranged from directing a multi-phased human health risk assessment of reuse water from oil and gas production in California to developing a Best Management Practices Plan related to the installation of a 4,000-foot-deep salt water disposal well in Louisiana.
“I am honored to join Langan, an exciting, entrepreneurial firm that puts its clients and people first,” said Navarro. “There are many development opportunities to explore in Southern California and around the state, and Langan is well positioned geographically to bring a level of technical sophistication and responsiveness that other firms cannot match.”
