PROJECT SPOTLIGHT: CRANBURY LOGISTICS CENTER

Langan provided integrated services including remediation of the Cranbury Logistics Center, an industrial redevelopment project on a 395-acre parcel situated off the New Jersey Turnpike. In 1954, the plant was closed following an explosion at the facility, which contaminated the site with munitions of explosive concern. This clean-up, under the supervision of an NJ-Licensed Remediation Professional, involved extensive efforts to delineate and mitigate munitions and impacted soil, and required impact to nearly 50 acres of contaminated wetlands. After nearly ten years of remediation, the first one-million-square-foot warehouse is substantially completed and fully leased. The project was recently recognized by the Urban Land Institute with a 2017 Excellence in Development Award.
