Roche and Ward Selected as ENR New York’s Top Young Professionals

Christian M. Roche, PE, LEED AP and Timothy J. Ward, PE, LEED AP BD+C were named “Top Young Professionals” by Engineering News Record (ENR) New York.  

Chris Roche is a rising leader at Langan. He was recently promoted to shareholder, making him one of the youngest partners in the firm’s history. His success can be attributed to his internal leadership skills and high-client satisfaction levels. Roche is an expert on stormwater management in New Jersey and his design work focuses on meeting regulations through creative affordable solutions. His expertise recently brought him to Beijing with Rutgers University to present on his stormwater management design work on campuses, focusing on low-impact stormwater management techniques. 

 

Timothy J. Ward, PE, LEED AP BD+C

Throughout his 12-year career at Langan, Tim Ward has played an integral role not just in the growth of the firm’s New York City office, but also in shaping the city’s neighborhoods. From managing a multidisciplinary team for Greenpoint Landing to overseeing Rockefeller University’s expansion over FDR Drive, Ward welcomes the chance to make positive changes to the city’s landscape. He has also managed projects overseas, including Basrah Sports City, an approximately 360-acre complex of stadiums in Iraq.

Each year ENR recognizes up-and-coming leaders in the construction and design industries. Contestants are judged on their industry experience, education, leadership skills, and community service. This year’s winners were selected from over 100 nominations.
