Women Builders Council Recognizes Langan Women

The Women Builders Council (WBC) recognized five Langan employees for their commitment to increasing diversity and the role of women in the construction and professional services industries: Karen Acker; Soudeh Ahmadian, PE; and Domenica Stasiak, PE, were named Outstanding Women and Julia Leung, PE, and Afton Simko, EIT, LEED AP BD+C, were named Next Generation Women Builders. WBC honored all of the winners at its 14th annual Champion Awards Dinner on May 2.

Collectively, the honorees’ experience ranges from subsurface investigations, flood mitigation, and site design to waterfront engineering and environmental investigation on major projects throughout the New York Metro area.
