Asian Art Museum

The Asian Art Museum occupies the former main library building in San Francisco. Langan, in a joint venture association with Olivia Chen Consultants, provided geotechnical, foundation, and ground motion design criteria for the seismic retrofit of the existing structure and the design of the new addition. The joint venture also provided geotechnical consultation and observation services during final design and construction phases of the project.
