Lusail Towers

Lusail Towers was built as part of an effort to transform the area north of Doha into a residential and commercial district prior to the 2022 Football World Cup. The 1.1 million SM development includes two towers (50 stories and 70 stories) with a fully integrated central plaza and transport hub. Langan scoped and supervised the geotechnical investigation, evaluated subsurface conditions, and provided a geotechnical engineering report with recommendations for the foundation and how to approach the adjacent transportation infrastructure. We also addressed site, stormwater drainage and grading, utility, and infrastructure design and developed models for storm and sanitary sewers, utilities, and surfaces. From there, we imported our designs into the BIM model to support conflict checks.
