National September 11 Memorial & Museum – Slurry Wall Re-Support

OVERVIEW
Part of the plan for the National September 11 Memorial & Museum included exposing part of the original World Trade Center slurry wall, which remained standing following the collapse of the towers. There was great concern, however, about the walls' stability and potential for flooding of the site and adjacent tunnels. Langan was retained to provide complete design and construction oversight of the permanent re-support systems.
