Project Oxford Hyperscale Data Center Campus
OVERVIEW
Project Oxford Hyperscale Data Center Campus is a six-phased hyperscale data center campus offering 234 MW of power in 1.8 million SF on 230+ acres. The project included an administration building, four core network rooms, and 40-acre electrical substation. The substation was designed to meet the needs of the project and was gifted by the client to the Grant County Public Utility District after construction. Civil challenges include mandates for zero stormwater discharge (for both rainwater and snow melt), which was accomplished by large infiltration evaporation pond that it is estimated could hold three cruise ships. The project served as a “design guideline” for the technology client, allowing the standardized design to be adapted for other sites nationwide, saving the client time and money in development efforts.
