Terminal Warehouse

Terminal Warehouse, a 1.3-million SF redevelopment in West Chelsea, transforms a 133-year-old historic building with six new stories, Class A office space, outdoor green areas, private terraces, a central courtyard, and ground-floor retail and dining. Langan provided geotechnical, site/civil, and surveying services, including subsurface investigations and the design of super columns on caissons drilled to bedrock; securing agency approvals; developing a Builders Pavement Plan with sidewalk, curb, and loading dock improvements; converting a sidewalk vault into a Con Edison electrical vault; and using 3D laser scanning and traditional surveying to create accurate models and plans for design coordination.
