The Keller

Overlooking the West Village waterfront, The Keller involves the adaptive reuse of the landmarked former hotel into condominiums with ground-floor retail. Langan performed a subsurface investigation, provided geotechnical design services, including support of excavation, underpinning, tiedown anchors, and mechanically stabilized earth walls, and conducted construction administration and special inspections. Enrolled in the New York State Brownfield Cleanup Program, the project required environmental services, including due diligence, remedial planning, in-situ groundwater treatment design, construction-phase monitoring, and preparation of the Final Engineering Report and Site Management Plan.
