Vogel Medical Campus

Langan is providing comprehensive civil and environmental engineering services for the new Robert Wood Johnson Vogel Medical Campus. The project will include a 250 bed acute care hospital, central utility plan, 115,000-SF medical office building, and a 100,000-SF cancer center. It’s located on a 38-acre parcel in the former Charles Wood Area of the former Fort Monmouth site. In May 2012, Fort Monmouth was transferred from the US Army to the State of New Jersey. Under the Fort Monmouth Economic Revitalization Authority (FMERA), the property will be redeveloped to provide investment, continuity and economic growth opportunities to the communities impacted by the closing of the Fort. Langan’s integrated engineering and environmental services have played a key role in FMERA’s ongoing projects including the new planned Medical Campus.
