Getting it Done in Denver
e-Commerce Speeds Langan’s Growth in Colorado
Luis Berroteran was born in Venezuela, but he seems born for Colorado. He’s an avid mountain biker and backcountry skier, not to mention an excellent geotechnical engineer with significant national and international experience. Since re-locating to the Mile High City, he quickly became a fixture in the state’s AEC industry, and was named a 2020 Top Young Professional by ENR Mountain States.
Under Luis’ leadership, Langan’s Denver office has doubled in size, which prompted a move to a new, larger space shortly before the pandemic. Since then, the Colorado-based team (not surprisingly) spends a lot of time out-of-doors on projects around the state and in neighboring Utah. And (not surprisingly) a lot of the current work is in the booming e-Commerce market.
NAIOP Colorado named two Langan projects as the state’s top projects of the year in 2018 and 2019. The trend continues with multiple fulfillment and distribution centers in design and under construction. Additionally, Langan is active on several projects in the resort market and on the commercial and residential fronts in downtown Denver.
“I’m truly grateful that Langan gave me the opportunity to start our Denver office, and it’s been great to see local experts join our ranks because they want to be part of a firm that provides technically excellent service and rewards employees with career growth opportunities,” said Berroteran.
