Langan Honored with NJIT Top Intern/Co-op Employer Award
by: Nicole VeenstraThe New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) named Langan one of its Top Intern/Co-op Employers for the 2022-2023 academic year. Langan accepted the award during the Recruitment Partner Awards Event on Friday, May 5, hosted by NJIT’s Career Development Services Department.
Langan has a longstanding partnership with NJIT, working closely with the university to help advance the AEC industry and support students interested in pursuing careers in engineering consulting. Last year, Langan further solidified this partnership by introducing a scholarship for students enrolled in the Albert Dorman Honors College. This annual scholarship is awarded to a student majoring in civil engineering, environmental engineering, or environmental science.
The decade-long partnership has also provided the opportunity for Langan to conduct multiple treatability studies using NJIT’s laboratories. By collaborating across offices and with NJIT’s faculty and students, Langan has successfully designed innovative, practical remediation systems and developed sustainable solutions for clients of all types.
Regarded as one of the nation’s leading public polytechnic universities, NJIT ranked in the top 100 on both the Forbes and U.S. News & World Report top colleges and universities lists for 2022. NJIT also ranked at No. 1 among public universities in The New York Times’ college ranking tool when the user prioritizes a school’s alumni earnings, economic mobility, and academic profile.
