Sportime Lake Isle Tennis Center

Located in Lower Westchester, the 58,000-SF facility is home to the John McEnroe Tennis Academy and features 8 indoor Har-Tru tennis courts under 3 state-of-the-art structures and a 5,000-SF clubhouse on two levels. Langan provided geotechnical engineering services including controlled inspection during the drilling of borings and excavation of test pits, lab tests on soil samples, and data on minimizing rock excavations for the clubhouse basement. Our site/civil team prepared plans for site materials, grading and drainage, utilities, soil erosion and sediment control, and construction details. We also performed construction administration services including procurement assistance and submittal review. Langan’s survey scope of work included a computer-generated “on-ground” site survey that showed curbs, roadways, buildings onsite and utilities.
