St. John’s University – Basketball Facility

St. John’s University is constructing a 50,000-SF basketball practice facility with a state-of-the-art training center (including courts, locker rooms, and strength areas), office and film rooms, and interactive recruiting spaces. We developed the sitework design, including utilities and stormwater management, and conducted a subsurface exploration, including a geophysical survey, borings, groundwater observation wells, percolation tests, and laboratory testing. We also provided soil characterization services to better understand the environmental quality and potential impacts of soil handling and off-site disposal and prepared comprehensive maps showing site conditions, utilities, and features, boundary information, and roadway information.
