The Brooklyn Tower

OVERVIEW
The Brooklyn Tower is a 93-story, 1,066-foot-tall residential building and the first supertall tower in the outer boroughs of New York City. The development includes more than 500 residences, 12,000 SF of amenities, and over 100,000 SF of retail space in the landmark Dime Savings Bank, which is the tower's base. The project required excavation and foundation construction adjacent to an active subway. Our geotechnical engineers prepared submittals and formal requests for information related to excavation support and caissons. Our survey team provided 3D laser scanning, 3D architectural and structural Revit modeling, and 2D elevation drawings of the bank building. We developed these drawings to support the preservation of the historic bank.
