Langan’s Traffic Team Helps Greenlight Projects Across the Country

AnnMarie Vigilante has always had her eyes on the road. A leader in Langan’s traffic engineering practice, she has helped the firm evolve from a Northeast consultant to an international player capable of supporting all manner of programmatic real estate assignments.

Each project type presents its own set of roadblocks. Industrial, e-Commerce, and big-box retail clients rely on Langan to develop roadway connections to stores and distribution centers without disrupting traffic flow; sports teams request improved game-day operations for fans; and hospitals seek better wayfinding, traffic circulation, and pedestrian safety. By prioritizing cross-training and collaboration across offices, Langan’s traffic team works together to proactively plan for client requests ranging from developing comprehensive master plans for expansive campuses to designing transit-oriented developments in dense urban areas.

Since joining Langan in 2004, Vigilante has experienced substantial growth with the firm’s traffic engineering practice. The team now comprises more than 50 dedicated professionals located across the US, Panama, and the UK, and has established itself as a go-to resource for global clients facing traffic and transportation-related challenges. She takes pride in that growth, yet she’s most proud of the professional opportunities available for her team: to continually expand their reach and experience while designing smart solutions that meet today’s needs and adapt for the road ahead.
