Perfect Pitches
Work on Five Stadium Sites Makes Langan a World Cup Winner
“Live, work, play” typically conveys a local theme, but with the summer’s World Cup, the world literally lived, worked, and played throughout North America. Langan is extraordinarily proud to have served as the engineer of record on no less than five of the tournament sites.
Of course, as a “ground-and-down” consultant, the work may not be visible, but without site/civil, geotechnical, traffic, survey, and environmental services, no stadium can be properly built. Franchise clients, professional leagues, architects, allied engineers, and construction management companies that perform in the sports sector have come to count on Langan to get projects right from “kick off.”
Langan’s success in the stadium and arena market stems from its unique mix of integrated services and has grown due to expansion across the U.S., and, importantly, internationally. In fact, Langan is currently engaged in several soccer venues abroad in preparation for the 2034 World Cup.
“It was thrilling to watch futbol for the past few weeks across America,” said Anamaris Torres-Sanchez, Associate in Langan’s Miami office, and lead of the firm’s ongoing efforts at Hard Rock Stadium. “As engineers, we strive to make a difference by what we do, and we’re gratified that our stadium projects did just that with the 2026 World Cup.”
