Spurring Growth in San Antonio
Langan Takes Another Address in Texas with Key Local Hire
Sam Knotts knows San Antonio. Born and raised in Alamo City, Knotts has been practicing site/land development engineering in the region for nearly 15 years. He joined Langan this spring and the timing could not be better in a town with tremendous upside.
As the seventh largest city in the US, San Antonio continues to see population surge, gaining more new residents last year than any other metro area in the country according to the U.S. Census Bureau. As a result, real estate development ranging from eds, meds, and sheds (a.k.a. warehouse industrial) is on the upswing.
“Joining Langan to lead its San Antonio office is a tremendous professional and personal opportunity for me,” said Knotts, Senior Project Manager. “The San Antonio team is excited to add to the firm’s incredible track record of success nationally and in Texas, where we are providing our clients with a higher-level of engineering and environmental services not found in the region.”
San Antonio is Langan’s sixth office in the Lone Star State’s megaregion, joining Houston, Dallas, Austin, Tyler, and Celina. Currently the firm has more than 130 professionals supporting all manner of projects in Texas through its unique integrated services, which includes site/civil, geotechnical, environmental engineering, as well as survey, landscape architecture, and environmental health and safety and compliance.
