Matthew E. Meyer, PE, D.GE

Principal

Matthew Meyer has 25 years of geotechnical engineering and project management experience. Meyer’s diverse geotechnical experience includes having worked throughout nearly 20 states and 12 countries or territories with significant experience along the east coast of the United States and in the Caribbean Islands. He has worked on large-scale private sector, public sector transportation projects, design-build projects and P3 projects. His project experience includes a range of project types and magnitude including: stadiums, high-rise structures, condominiums, hotels, resorts, casinos, universities, retail centers, healthcare, convention centers, waterfront, marina, and port developments, vehicular tunnels, microtunnels, vehicular/pedestrian bridges, airport and petrochemical projects. In addition, he has provided expert opinions, deposition testimony, presented at dispute review boards and given testimony at trial on various geotechnical related matters.

Meyer is a Past-President of the Miami-Dade Chapter of ASCE, a Diplomate Geotechnical Engineer, a Trustee Board Member of the Deep Foundation Institute, a past Chair and/or past Trustee-Liason to the Augered Cast-In-Place Pile Committee and the Soil Mixing Committee, the Current Trustee-Liason to the Industry Wide Working Platform Working Group and a former Adjunct Professor at Florida International University. He has received engineering awards from ASCE and the DFI, been featured in ENR’s Southeast “Top 20 Under 40”, Geo-Strata and Deep Foundation Institute articles, and has prepared, presented or co-authored/presented a combination of over 40 technical presentations or publications on geotechnical related topics.
