Associate Principal
Richard LoCastro has more than 35 years of experience in the environmental consulting field, with significant expertise in PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) investigations and source identification. Throughout his career, he has managed large-scale, complex environmental projects, demonstrating his proficiency in tackling challenging environmental issues. LoCastro is a licensed professional geologist with expertise in hydrogeologic evaluations, expedited site characterization, contaminant fate and transport analyses, DNAPL investigations, fractured bedrock investigations, environmental due diligence assessments, vapor intrusion investigations and mitigation, thermal remediation, remedial alternative evaluations, and NJ’s Industrial Site Recovery Act (ISRA).
His responsibilities focus largely on the management of environmental projects for private sector clients, where he leverages his extensive knowledge and experience to develop effective solutions for PFAS remediation and other environmental challenges.
