Stewart Abrams has nearly 40 years of experience in site remediation, groundwater remediation, brownfield redevelopment, water treatment and engineering design. He is an expert in remedial technology, with particular emphasis on bioremediation, chemical oxidation/reduction technologies, soil vapor extraction, dual-phase extraction, and air sparging. Abrams also has extensive experience in water process engineering, notably water and wastewater treatment and industrial waste treatment for both organics and metals.
Though a partnership with the New Jersey Institute of Technology, Abrams directs Langan’s laboratory treatability and R&D program. He has become involved in the emerging fields of sustainable remediation, sediment remediation and emerging contaminant treatment. Prior to joining Langan, Abrams was National Practice Leader for Remediation at a major national consulting and engineering firm and Vice President of Operations at an environmental R&D firm.
