Formerly a 38,700-SF-paved vacant lot in downtown San Jose, One South Market is now a 23-story residential tower with approximately 300 state-of-the-art units. Langan provided environmental and geotechnical services for the project.
 

SIMPSON ELECTED TO
DFI BOARD OF TRUSTEES
Langan Principal Lori Simpson, PE, GE has been elected to the Deep Foundations Institute (DFI) Board of Trustees. Simpson was previously the chair of the DFI Codes and Standards Committee and has been actively involved in the effort to modify the Soils and Foundations chapter of the International Building Code. She is also a member of the DFI Women in Deep Foundations Committee. Simpson has nearly 30 years of experience in geotechnical investigation, design, consultation, and construction observation.
