Beth Burgess Named 2024 Top Young Professional by Commercial Observer

As a Project Engineer at Langan, Burgess plays a key role in the firm’s environmental practice in New York City. She brings over seven years of experience in remedial investigations, environmental site assessments, and remedial oversight and implementation, with a specific focus on brownfield development and renewable energy projects.
Burgess gives back to the AEC industry through her active participation in various professional organizations, including her current roles as Board Member, Co-Chair of the Scholarship Committee, and Events Committee Member for the New York City Brownfield Partnership. With these leadership positions, Burgess helps grow the organization and advocate for best practices in brownfield development across New York City. She is also an Associate Member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, a mentor for the ACE Mentor Program, and a previous participant in the Beverly Willis Architecture Foundation Emerging Leaders Program.
The 2024 Top Young Professionals were honored during a networking reception on Wednesday, June 26.
