Bisnow Names Emily Mahoney a Rising Star in Austin

Bisnow announced the winners of its 2026 Austin Women Leading Real Estate Awards, naming Emily Mahoney a Rising Star. This award recognizes individuals with less than 15 years of experience who have made significant contributions to commercial real estate projects and to the industry.
Based in Austin, Mahoney is an Associate Principal and Sustainability Leader at Langan with more than a decade of experience in site/civil engineering, land development, and sustainable design. She provides strategic oversight from early due diligence through permitting, design, and construction for a range of market sectors, including data centers, industrial, commercial, residential, and healthcare. Mahoney works closely with regulators and project teams to navigate permitting in sensitive waterways and flood hazard areas, confirming that projects are both compliant and environmentally responsible.
In its fifth year, Bisnow’s Austin awards program celebrates the women whose leadership, vision, and dedication are shaping the future of commercial real estate in Texas. Honorees will be celebrated at the awards event on Thursday, May 14.
