Five Langan Projects Recognized by Regional Awards Programs

Three regional awards programs recently recognized Langan projects located throughout the Northeast.

ACEC Pennsylvania awarded the UGI Bethlehem LNG Facility a Diamond Award in the Energy category. Langan provided multidisciplinary services throughout the project, including surveying; site/civil, environmental, and geotechnical engineering; permitting; and construction observation and testing.

As part of the Engineering Excellence Awards program, ACEC New York awarded both Moynihan Train Hall and One Vanderbilt with Diamond Awards in the Surveying and Mapping and Special Projects categories, respectively. Langan provided surveying and site/civil and geotechnical engineering for Moynihan Train Hall; the award submission focused on our 20-year surveying and 3D laser scanning contribution to the project. For One Vanderbilt, Langan provided surveying, scanning/BIM, and geotechnical, site/civil, and traffic engineering.

Finally, CTBUH recognized three Langan projects as part of its Award of Excellence program:

  • One Vanderbilt: Best Tall Building 400 meters and above; Best Tall Office Building
  • ARO: Best Tall Residential or Hotel Building
  • 30 Hudson Yards: Structural Engineering
