Forsburg Named AEG Distinguished Young Member

The Association of Environmental & Engineering Geologists (AEG) presented Amanda Forsburg, Senior Project Scientist with the Piteau Award, which recognizes a Distinguished Young Member. This award is given to a member who is 35 or under and has excelled in technical accomplishment, service to the association, and commitment to the engineering geology profession. 

At Langan, Forsburg manages environmental investigation and remediation at several large-scale urban redevelopment sites in New York. She was part of the management team for the project at 365 Bond Street in Brooklyn, which was honored with an ACEC NY Engineering Excellence Award. Forsburg is actively engaged in the environmental and construction industries – she serves as Secretary for the New York/Philadelphia chapter of AEG, and is involved with the Professional Women in Construction and Society of Women Environmental Professionals. Forsburg is also a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager.
