Jared Green Elected At-Large Director for ASCE Board of Direction

The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) appointed Jared Green as the At-Large Director of its Board of Direction. Green will begin his three-year term starting in October. The board consists of 18 members, including three Presidential Officers and 15 Directors.

Green previously served on ASCE’s Geo-Institute Board of Governors, Technical Coordination Council, and Annual Convention Sponsorship Committee. He also plays an active role with the Deep Foundations Institute, American Council of Engineering Companies, Salvadori Center, and AIA Philadelphia, and hosts the Engineering Management Institute’s Geotechnical Engineering Podcast.

Based in Langan’s Philadelphia office, Green is a geotechnical engineer and practice leader with 22 years of experience working on complex projects in Eastern Pennsylvania, the New York Metropolitan Area, Upstate New York, New Jersey, and Delaware. He specializes in developing creative design solutions for excavations located near historic structures and sensitive below-grade tunnels.
