Langan Announces Denver Office

LANGAN ANNOUNCES DENVER OFFICE

NAIOP Colorado Awards Top Industrial Prize to Langan Project for Second Straight Year

Parsippany, NJ (April 2, 2019) – Langan Engineering & Environmental Services officially announced the opening of its Denver office at 200 Union Boulevard, Suite 200 in Lakewood. The firm has been operating in Colorado for more than two years on behalf of multiple clients. The success of several projects and the strength of the local market has led Langan to take a long-term stance in the city.

Richard Burrow, Senior Principal, leads the Denver initiative for Langan including oversight of the local site/civil practice. Senior Associates Mark Seel and Mimi Raygorodetsky are responsible for the geotechnical and environmental practices, respectively. Day-to-day operations are managed by Luis Berroteran, Senior Project Manager.

“Langan entered the Denver market at the behest of our clients, and our team led by Richard Burrow exceeded expectations,” said David T. Gockel, President/CEO, Langan. “From this strong foothold, we see long-term potential in the Denver Metro Area and beyond. We have tremendous career growth opportunities for personnel at all levels and are actively recruiting to accelerate our growth in Denver.”

For the second consecutive year, Langan was part of the team that won NAIOP Colorado Industrial Project of the Year. For the winning project in 2018, announced last month, Langan provided fully integrated services – site/civil, geotechnical, and traffic engineering plus natural resources permitting – for the 855,000-square-foot fulfillment center in Thornton on behalf of Trammell Crow Company and Clarion Partners. In 2017, Langan led land development and traffic engineering for the NAIOP award-winning one-million-square-foot fulfillment center in Aurora for Prologis.

“Working in Colorado has been exciting, and we believe that the Denver Metro economy will continue to expand for industrial and other real estate markets, such as residential, mixed use, and hospitality,” said Burrow. “Most importantly, we know that the clients and teaming partners we have engaged with in Colorado appreciate what Langan brings to their projects, so we foresee many opportunities to support one another in the future.”
