Six Langan Projects Recognized with Industry Awards in California

Five industry awards programs recently recognized a total of six Langan projects, all located throughout California.

For its 2022 Project Awards program, the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Region 9 named Oyster Point the Outstanding Construction Project, and Alameda Point Waterfront Park the Outstanding Community Improvement Project. The ASCE Orange County Branch also recognized a Langan project, presenting UC Irvine – Verano 8 Graduate Student Housing with the 2022 Outstanding Construction Project Award.

CalGeo—the geotechnical engineering association of California—named 1064 Mission Street, San Francisco’s largest permanent supportive housing community, an Outstanding Project for the Private-Medium Category.

Additionally, two education projects were awarded by statewide organizations. Together, California’s Coalition for Adequate School Housing (aka CASH) and the AIA California Council recognized Mission Bay School with the Project in Design, Award of Excellence as part of the Leroy F. Greene Design and Planning Awards. The California Preservation Foundation awarded the Alma College site with a 2023 Preservation Design Award, as well.
